Described as an Indo Persian restaurant, there is an extensive menu of dishes covering Turkish, Afghanistan Persian, Pakistani and Indian cuisine. These include Persian lamb shank with pomegranate seeds, crumbled pistachio, and the Qavali Grand Platter - a selection of grilled meats including Punjabi Chicken Tikka, Sajji wings, and Kandahari lamb ribs.

This restaurant, serves a menu brimming with the finest Middle Eastern delicacies like the Hyderabadi Biryani, exquisitely layered with saffron rice and sealed with a crisp pastry top. This place is at 60 Broad St, Brindley Place, it’s Indian/Turkish cuisine. The service earns high marks for being warm and professional, making celebratory occasions feel special, although there are occasional reports of slower service.

However, Qavali is not just a great spot for food it’s also an amazing spot to capture a stunning photo. The restaurant has stunning emerald green furnishing with touches of gold and greenery throughout.

Despite some mixed reviews, the Qavali restaurant in Birmingham left a splendid first impression. The food and drinks were on point, with delicious, perfectly seasoned dishes and generous portions. They even surprised us with a complimentary drink and baklava for our birthdays.

Named after a style of Sufi devotional singing and originating from the Arabic word qual - meaning ‘to speak’ - the eatery will offer a range of delicious dishes inspired by Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Indian cuisine. Qavali is expected to open in July or August.
