Reviews Summary
Harborne Kitchen is widely praised for its creative and high-quality progressive British cuisine, offering a fine dining experience at surprisingly affordable prices. Diners love the relaxed atmosphere, attentive and knowledgeable staff, and the engaging open kitchen. While the food is generally exceptional, a few reviews noted specific dishes that didn't meet expectations or desired more substantial accompaniments.
"We came here for an anniversary meal and had the five courses for £55 menu. It was all absolutely delicious. The ‘chips’ served with the roe were so good no other chip will ever be the same again. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed with a great eclectic playlist. The staff was delightful and we loved watching the chefs hard at work in the open plan kitchen. We spent £170 including two drinks each, cheese board and tip. Very reasonable for a fine dining experience that in my opinion was as good as some of the Michelin starred restaurants I’ve been to. Well worth it for a special occasion. Thanks HK team!"

"Amazing staff and amazing food. Went to celebrate my graduation and they made it so special, I can’t thank them enough :)"

"We visited here for their monthly Sunday dinner. I have to say it was a fantastic experience. There wasn’t a single thing they served me that I didn’t like. The snack, starter, main and dessert were all superb. The roast chicken breast was so tasty. And the staff were fantastic. Every single staff member said hello/goodbye with a smile, our waiters asked us how every course was, topped up our water regularly. They were attentive, friendly but not over bearing. Bill was £126 for two of us (I had two beers, partner had a lemonade) so excellent value for 4 courses. Will definitely be returning"
