Reviews Summary

Asha's is praised for its superb food, excellent service, and impressive ambiance, with many highlighting specific dishes like Biryani and Prawn Shan E Nisha. However, some diners find the prices to be on the higher side for the portion sizes, and a few have noted that the food, while good, didn't always meet expectations for the cost, with one reviewer mentioning a rushed experience between courses.

"Absolutely blew me away! As far as Indian fine dining goes, this place is a total winner.

The food was just incredible. Seriously, every dish was a hit, but the Gosht Yakhni Biryani was out of this world – so fragrant and the lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The Prawn Shan E Nisha was packed with flavour, and the Lobster Panchphoran? Pure luxury and perfectly spiced.
Beyond the fantastic food, the whole dining experience was amazing. The atmosphere was spot-on, and the service was top-notch. And a massive shoutout to Shubham! That espresso martini he made me was hands down the best I've ever had.

If you're looking for an Indian meal that's a cut above the rest, Asha's is a must-visit. You won't be disappointed!"

Deepak Tumarada

"Great food and excellent service. The staff are really friendly and attentive. I think if I’m honest, the dishes are a little expensive for what they are. A curry shouldn’t really be edging towards £30 and rice £8 etc. I would rate the Viceroy Tandoori down the road as better than Asha’s but prefer Asha’s to the also close by Rajdoot. Overall, I would still recommend a visit."

Mat Smout

"The staff were amazing, very kind and welcoming. Very professional. Decor was very nice, unfortunately the food was not amazing. It was nice. Just disappointing for the price. I was expecting some amazing Indian cuisine experience. Unfortunately we were disappointed. It had been a very nice experience, however sadly we would not return."

Birmingham is the UK’s spiritual home of South Asian food, and Asha’s vibrant alternative to afternoon tea infuses classic elements with bold flavouring. Meat eaters and vegetarians are covered with chicken malai or bombay sandwiches, keema prawn toast, and mini mushroom kukure, while their desserts and teas are decadently rich: mango and passionfruit cheesecake and barfi deliver a sweet kick, while their butterfly, honey and pea tea or apple and pear iced tea cleanse the palette. Price: £34.75 with tea, £39.75 with prosecco.
