Reviews Summary

Fine Cheese Company Bath is celebrated for its exceptional selection of over 100 artisan cheeses and delicious pastries. Visitors frequently praise the quality of the food, the friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the pleasant atmosphere of the cafe. However, some have noted a lack of readily available allergy information on the menu.

"Had my afternoon coffee, loved it. Beautiful place, amazing service and pretty affordable as well.
Definitely will be visiting again with my friends to try more stuff"

Amin Nizar

"The cafe is pleasant and the food is good. Various seating areas deeper into the building.
Menu doesn't give allergy options, but they will advise.
No GF bread is available for the sandwiches and toasties!
There are a couple of shallow steps up at the front door, but the rest is level for pushchairs and wheelchairs."

Paul Ruffles

"Classy, elegant independent cafe.
Atmosphere felt a little flat, but that was mainly down to there only being a few customers present at 10am - this was made more acute by the contrast with number of team members present (I counted at least half a dozen!).
Coffee was pleasant, and the servers recommendation of pineapple and lime upside down cake was delicious.
Service was non-intrusive, and tailored questions led us to the choice of cake, if a little formal feeling.
The price of the food and drink was reasonable, especially given the location in central Bath.
The only (fairly big) downside was the mandatory 10% service charge, which is probably why they can have so many team members on shift."

Where to shop in Bath

Given Cheddar cheese originated in the Somerset village of Cheddar, it may come as no surprise that Bath has a number of good specialist cheese shops. The Fine Cheese Co, a long-established independent, has knowledgeable staff behind the counter and specialises in British and overseas artisan cheeses. Local cheeses include several made on a farm near Bath by the Bath Soft Cheese Co, and mozzarella made from milk from a herd of water buffalo on another farm near Yeovil.
