"China cottage was lovely! Bit of a quiet night but we went and absolutely LOVED the food! We shared a quarter duck to start with and got loads of it! I had the stir fried beef with mushrooms and my dad had sweet and sour chicken. We shared egg fried rice, salt & pepper chips, and curry sauce. Everything was delicious, really good value for money and plenty between two people for sure! There was also a great Prosecco deal on! The lovely lady waiting on us was fab too. Would highly recommend!!"

"Honestly didn’t expect to come across proper Chinese food in the Lake District – and this place was such a nice surprise. The steamed sea bass was super fresh and tasty, the dry-fried green beans were packed with flavour, and the tofu dish was really comforting. Everything tasted just like home!
It’s also really affordable, which makes it even better. So glad we found it – we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re around."
