Çınaraltı Restaurant’a gidiyoruz. Yemek 9/10, fiyatlar bence biraz pahalı, hizmet bedelini zaten anlamıyorum. #yemek #çınaraltı #restaurant #fiyat #istanbul #içliköfte #türkmutfağı #kebap

Reviews Summary

Reviews for Çınaraltı Indian Restaurant are highly polarized. While some praise the delicious Indian dishes and warm hospitality, particularly from owner Samim, many others express extreme disappointment, citing food that is not authentic Indian, poor taste, small portions, and cleanliness issues. Service speed and attentiveness also receive mixed feedback, with some finding it slow and others polite.

"The restaurant is prepare very tasty food. The salads are huge. Staff is very polite. Restaurant's owner gave us very helpful tips how we could continue our route."

Atanas Grozdev

"Honestly the food is nothing related to Indian cuisine, we ordered biryani, alooparatha, karahi etc but we couldn’t even chew (I don’t want to mention about the portions even) and when we gave our honest reviews about the food taste to the staff, they were arguing and trying to convince us that they did the best Indian food (by the way we cook&eat every single day Indian/pakistani food).
The service was very slow and the waitress was not even aware of what she is serving to the costumers. No AC working and it was unbelievable hot inside, plates, forks glasses are all dirty. And for all what we have tolerated, we paid a higher fee rate. Only a man (I think an owner/ chef) was polite, I would suggest to keep the restaurant for Turkish cuisine only, so they can grow May be, but not everyone can make Indian dishes. So much regret to experience here!"

Saodat Davlatova

"Pretty below average Indian food.
- Chana masala was not well cooked.
- Paneer tasted anything but paneer; yes the milk is different but paneer was a bit too salty. They charges us ~ 600 Lira per plate for such a bad dish.
- Chapati were not freshly made - these were frozen and reheated.
- Yogurt was weird tasting.
- Dal was horrible tasting.

This was unfortunately one of our worst dining experiences in Turkey.

The owner was nice but the serving person not so welcome."
