"Its menu attracted me in the first place, especially with Carbonara. It’s not common at all to find Carbonara in Italian restaurants in Turkey so we gave it a try. We ordered a Margherita pizza, rigatoni alla carbonara and house wine. Service was fast. The staff attended most of the tables, especially with foreign visitors. The pizza was fine and the carbonara was from a true Roman trattoria with the original recipe IMHO. It would have been perfect with a little more sauce. We paid less than we could possibly pay for the same food in Istanbul. I definitely recommend this place and hope to visit it again."

But the star of the show was without a doubt the pizza. Crispy, golden, and straight from a proper wood-fired oven, the crust had that perfect crunch that’s so hard to find outside of Italy. "We'd wondered in here by chance and were met with a warm welcome from the couple that owns and runs the restaurant.

The owner/chef is from Roma who definitely knows how to cook Italian food like an Italian. A very cozy, traditionally-Italian restaurant, that does everything right.

The owner had actually invited us back a few nights later as he was making suppli, which was amazing. This is perhaps my favourite restaurant in Bodrum and the best Italian food I've had in my 1.5 years in Turkey so far.

The carbonara was a real, authentic Rome carbonara that was s good I had it twice.

I'm not one for visiting a restaurant multiple times but when we go to Bodrum again, I will go back here. A perfect experience."
