"This was my first time at this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. The décor is charming and, although the place is small, it feels cozy and welcoming. I absolutely loved the tacos, especially the carnitas, which instantly reminded me of Mexico. Approved by a Mexican! 🇲🇽 😜The service was friendly and attentive, and I would definitely come back."

"Nice service, nice place, great variation of drinks - yet for food, mostly are pork tacos. Will be great to see more chicken or meat variation within the tacos (and maybe one or two more vegan options) in the future. Loving the oyster (heard from a friend that the oyster is a must try, and i ordered it 2x). Menus are singles, but they also have bigger portion (with 2-3 tacos within). Taste wise is really good. Worth the visit, but please reserve beforehand - as on the weekends it could get quite full."

"Dinner at Queru – The Hague

We had a lovely evening at Queru, a small yet cosy Mexican restaurant in The Hague. Booking a table for two via email was seamless — we received an immediate and friendly reply. The restaurant’s interior is vibrant, decorated with colourful Mexican art and traditional items, which adds to its welcoming atmosphere.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Ordering was smooth thanks to a convenient QR code system, and both food and drinks arrived quickly. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour — clearly prepared with care and authenticity.

However, we did feel that the price-to-portion ratio could be improved, especially when it came to the vegetarian options. While everything tasted great, the vegetarian dishes were noticeably less generous than their meat or fish counterparts. At €84 for two people for a selection of bites, it felt a bit steep for what we got.

Conclusion: A great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service — just be prepared for premium prices and limited vegetarian choices."
