"Very nice high class restaurant. A little pricey, but it’s in a very nice prime location. In the evenings it opens as a real restaurant which is one Michelin star. We had breakfast and coffee and it was very quiet and pleasant. I think it gets quite busy in the afternoon and evenings. It has a very large outdoor seating area and pavilion, and the inside is immaculate, really beautiful. It also serves as a hotel with rooms above. Directly across the street from the amazing large church in Haarlem.
Our server Killian was very friendly.
The large building used to be the treasury where they printed money, and later they printed stamps, so it’s pretty impressive."

Delicious food, great portions for the price, over-the-top friendly and helpful service, and quiet but warm ambience. This was the perfect place to spend our last night in Haarlem.
The menu is small, but every dish we had on it was incredible! We had two gluten- and dairy-free members and the kitchen was more than happy to accommodate with recommendations and substitutions as needed. They have gluten free bread and dishes that gear very well to their restricted diets.
The waiting staff and kitchen take their work very seriously, doing their utmost to make the entire meal the best experience for their customers.
We will absolutely come again next time we’re in the area! Thanks very much for the wonderful experience, Bistro ML!"
