Good intentions aside, there are plenty of reasons to add a meal here to your must-do list. The original is in the Old South part of town at the bottom corner of the Vondelpark but give that a miss and make tracks to the gorgeous Hoftuin garden in the Plantage area. It’s an incredibly cool and popular place for amazing grown-up brunch and what’s more it’s fantastic for kids.

Dignita Hoftuin is located in the back yard of the Hermitage museum. It’s a great location in every season, but especially the summertime when you can dine outside or sit down in the light-filled restaurant. As to the food, it has a great all-day brunch menu.

The Dignita Westerpark location is my new favorite go-to brunch place. It is great for brunch with a friend followed by a walk around the park. They have a vegan brunch forest dweller sandwich that is excellent and matcha fig pancakes that are amazing.

Dignita – This is a wonderful spot to have a workweek breakfast or brunch, especially on their large patio. The Benny Boy was legendary: it is an eggs benedict on a crispy potato cake that is gloriously gluten-free. I had mine with salmon.

I can’t decide whether it’s Little Collins or Dignita being my favorite spot. This brunch place has quite a unique and impressive concept. All profits made from the café go to an organization helping people to reintegrate into society.

Dignita has a beautiful outdoor seating and I’d definitely recommend going there for lunch. After walking around for a while, we just wanted to sit around, eat some filling food and get some drinks. Dignita is perfect for that.
