Dining here is a wholesome experience where your eyes feast first before your palate. We enjoyed the entire experience and it truly deserves all the recognition given. Make sure to make a little stroll in the night market after dinner.

What to eat and drink in Phuket
No wonder mŏo hong, or stewed pork belly, has stood the test of time. Brought to Phuket from Southeast China in the 19th century, the island’s signature dish has a delightfully mellow taste. Slow-cooked in soy sauce until it falls off the bone, the tender meat is seasoned with coriander roots, star anise, garlic and black pepper to add warmth and complexity to what would otherwise be a rich, sweet pork dish with dark soy and a drizzle of palm sugar.
Bangkok's guide to where to eat in Phuket
Phuket has long been called the Peranakan capital of Thailand. Sadly, there is a dearth of restaurants serving authentic Peranakan fare (a cuisine invented by Straits Chinese who lived in merchant cities in the Malayu Peninsula, including Phuket, Malacca, Singapore and, most importantly, Penang). It’s the type of home-cooked cuisine Phuketians of old would eat within their walled rowhouses.
