Reviews Summary
Monsoon Valley Wine Bar is praised for its excellent selection of Thai wines, particularly the Shiraz and Chardonnay, and its scenic vineyard setting. Diners enjoy the happy hour promotions and the warm hospitality, with special mentions for staff like Khun Tum. However, some visitors find the food portions small and the quality inconsistent, with one review calling the food 'disgusting' while others found it delicious.
"During our visit to Hua Hin, we discovered Monsoon's wine bar, a delightful surprise sits near the heart of the city. Not only does Monsoon boast a beautiful vineyard, but their wine bar is a gem in its own right. They offer a selection of locally produced wines, allowing customers to taste and appreciate their unique flavors. I was particularly impressed by the white Shiraz and Chardonnay, each with hints of local fruits that made them stand out. This wine bar is a fantastic alternative for those looking to take a break from the usual seafood dinner options. The professionalism and hospitality of the staff were very good, contributing to a memorable experience. We're looking forward to our next visit and the chance to enjoy their great wines once again."

"Came after lunch hour but the kitchen is still available to service food.
The platters consist of locally produce cheese and salami. Wine tasting options are available to cater to different preference. Entire wine bar is spacious and there is even an outdoor patio.
We had kids with us and they are very well accommodated with children cutlery. Grape juice is also available for non-wine drinker."

"I had tried their cider a couple years ago and it was my first time trying their wine product. The happy hour with buy one get one free is very good. I love their sparkling and rose wine! Good snacks to have while drinking. Chill out, little space on the second floor and an easy car park."

Heading inland first, this attraction was actually from an earlier visit when we hired a local driver to take us to some inland waterfalls (Pala U Waterfall) before a free tour of the Hua Hins Hills Vineyard with some sampling of the locally produced Monsoon Valley wines (our write-up from ages ago here). Surrounded by hills in a shallow valley, there are some amazing views from the top gallery and restaurant, with elephants stomping about. Official Vineyards website here.

Togther, Hua Hin Hills and Siam Winery produce Monsoon Valley Wines, one of the most common bottles spotted on shelves in Thailand. The company also produces Spy Wine Coolers, the best-selling “wine-based drink” in the country, a financial stepping stone that allows them to produce their prestige wines. The family behind the brand is no stranger to beverage-based success: the winery was founded by the late Chaleow Yoovidhya, cofounder of and recipe-creator for Red Bull.
