Reviews Summary
Pakorn's Kitchen is a highly acclaimed Thai restaurant celebrated for its authentic flavors, generous portions, and excellent value. While many rave about signature dishes like the Khao Soi and Massaman curry, some reviewers note that certain seafood dishes can be less impressive. The casual atmosphere and friendly service contribute to a positive dining experience, though wait times can be long during peak hours.
"This place has one of my favourite Khao Soi’s in Chiang Mai and the BEST papaya salad in my opinion. The main guy who greets you is such a sweetheart, he always recognised us when we would come back and gave us the friendliest welcome. Only negative to mention is that it can take ages for food to come out sometimes (we’ve waited up to an hour) but the fact we’ve continuously gone back is testament to just how tasty the food is. Also if you go at peak times expect there to be a bit of a wait to be seated. The iced green tea is also delicious (but on the sweeter side) if you want something more tangy go for the iced lemon tea!"

"Genuinely the nicest food Ive had in my life. This place is a must visit in CM. Lots of options, great prices and options to choose the size which is nice. Even the small is a decent meal. My partner and I got 3 small Dishes, Beef Fried rice, Pad see ew and Khao soi. All amazing we both left full and happy. Will be returning very soon!"

"Believe the hype. As a guy that loves food, and complexity and simplicity and everything in between, you're in for a treat here.
Star anise, peppercorns, spices, herbs and flavour blended together by an incredible Chef, aptly named Pakorn (same as the business) and his sous-chef team. Unmatched for PRICE vs. QUALITY ratio.
Great portion sizes. Tons of protein, complex flavours, something for everyone.
If you're in Chiang Mai and you appreciate soul food, this place is your destination.
Ta, our server has a lovely dude, absolutely running the front of house show, serving, hosting, everything. This crew is locked in, it's worth the wait and you will not be disappointed.
Grateful to Chef Pakorn and his generational recipes that give Thai cuisine their rightful spot amongst some of the best food in the world. 🙏🏻🇹🇭
You will not find better."

I recommend getting a size down from what your stomach tells you. Also, it’s not aesthetically pleasing because it’s on a busy street and there’s a lot of noise from the traffic but the food was worth it. I’d recommend the pork Khao Sai!
