Reviews Summary

Diners consistently praise Ginger Farm Kitchen for its delicious and authentic Northern Thai cuisine, unique flavors, and beautiful, cozy ambiance. Many highlight the fresh, organic ingredients and generous portions, though some find the prices slightly high for the area. While the food is a major draw, a rare instance of an unexpected charge for an unfortunate incident has been noted, alongside mixed opinions on specific dishes like the roasted pork and fried fish.

"I came here with a friend on a recommendation and we were so delighted with all the dishes we ordered. Everything was absolutely amazing, the service was top notch and the dishes flew out of the kitchen. Highly recommend!!"

Penelope Jarman

"First meal in Chiang Mai and first time trying out Northern Thailand (Lanna) cuisine. It's pretty good. Ordered the famous pork, the platter, seafood noodle salad. The pork skin was a bit too thick for me. The seafood noodle is very good though. Nonetheless, I recommend for first-timers to try this place."

Jasper Lim

"If you are an overseas traveller not familiar with Thai or south East Asian cuisine, this will be a good place to sample the northern Thai food in a very nice environment. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. However, if you are already somewhat familiar with local food, this place may be a bit too costly. The fried rice was nice. The signature dish roasted pork was a bit disappointing. The service was however top notch."

Here Are 5 Places To Eat On Chiang Mai’s Nimmanhemin Road

Occupying the corner spot at the One Nimman shopping complex, Ginger Farm Kitchen is every bit as photogenic and homy as you could imagine a houseware brand to be (which is Ginger Farm’s other hat). Hipster rustic barn vibes aside, the restaurant serves up a fresh farm-to-city concept with local flavours – including Mae Hong Son-style hang lay curry, and crispy free-range pork belly served with homemade pickled cucumbers. The menu is heavy on Northern dishes, but with some modern interpretations, such as spaghetti with Northern style sausage or tom yam with crispy chicken skin.
