Reviews Summary

Sorn offers a highly acclaimed culinary journey into Southern Thai cuisine, praised for its authentic flavors, innovative presentations, and exceptional service. While many rave about the complex and bold tastes, and the sophisticated ambiance, some note that desserts could be more memorable and that service, while professional, can occasionally feel impersonal. Despite these minor points, the overwhelming sentiment is that Sorn provides a truly world-class, fine-dining experience that lives up to its Michelin stars.

"The only 3-Michelin-Stars in Thailand, as of 2025.

Sorn offers an unforgettable culinary journey that captures the essence of Southern Thai cuisine at its finest. Every dish is bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and deeply rooted in local tradition. The attention to detail is remarkable—from the complexity of the ingredients to the storytelling behind each course.

Service is outstanding: warm, professional, and effortlessly smooth, making the whole experience feel both special and genuinely welcoming. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, with excellent pairings that elevate each dish and reflect a deep understanding of flavor harmony.

The atmosphere is refined yet relaxed—not overly formal, but still very much a fine dining experience. It’s the kind of place where world-class technique meets heartfelt hospitality. A true three-Michelin-star experience that opens your senses and leaves a lasting impression."

Norraphol B.D.

"First time experiencing a 3 star Michelin restaurant. From beginning to end the service was top notch. As soon as I walked in they knew how many people were in my party and we were led to a fairly nice private corner of the restaurant. The staff including the chef were lovely always catering to us and anticipating our needs.

The food itself was very delicious. Tons of bold flavors that all seemed to blend together perfectly. Their signature crab dish with roe was one of my favorites along with the Tapi river prawn with rice crackers.

The reason I didn’t give Sorn 5 stars is because as others here have mentioned the desserts aren’t really a standout. Considering this is the last dish you eat before leaving I would think they would make a dessert that is more memorable. Maybe I had higher expectations but I would think that a Michelin 3 star restaurant should also put as much emphasis on their food dishes as their desserts.

Overall it was a lovely experience and I truly enjoyed my time there. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. If they work on creating more memorable desserts this Michelin restaurant would truly be a standout."

Adriana E

"Firstly This is an all time favorite meal. Maybe top 5 restaurants I’ve ever been too. It easily tops all the other Michelin rated Thai places in Bangkok.

I could describe it but honestly just go. It’s worth the money. I did the shorter drink pairing as well which is also worth it.

The staff is impeccable as well as the ambience, Especially right near the kitchen where we sat. This place is perfect for a special celebration you really feel pampered and specially. They earned their stars"
