Chao Phrom Market is a vibrant, authentic Thai market offering a wide variety of fresh produce, everyday essentials, and delicious street food at bargain prices. Visitors enjoy the lively atmosphere and the opportunity to experience local life, though some note that the market can be crowded and occasionally appears unkempt. It's a great spot for a true taste of Ayutthaya.
"Busy market from early morning to around lunchtime. I usually drop by after work, but there's not a lot of options anymore. Nevertheless, I still get to buy my favorite kinds of veggies and some meat. There are many stalls that sell different kinds of products too ranging from clothes, school supplies, fruits and ready to eat food."

"Very beautiful. After taking the locomotive train from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, cross over from the train station to take a ferry to Chao Phrom pier. It's only 10 baht.
From there, you can charter a bicycle, motorcycle or tuk tuk tour at a very cheap rate from a shop name December House. It's a wonderful shop run by a lady named Nid Noi. Very honest, helpful and welcoming person."

"Plenty of food and drink on offer.
Great prices, and very close to the top pile of bricks you pay 200 baht to see"
