"hilai harbour locations have a level of consistency and quality that is well regarded. have not been disappointed yet although there is always room for improvement.
great selection of dishes with balance between hot, cold, appetizers, fruits, salad, sashimi, etc.
however, their desserts, whilst many in selection, look and taste unsophisticated and unrefined (of particular note are the cheap looking cupcakes in the paper cups). given they are charging hotel buffet prices, they certainly ought to offer hotel quality desserts to match.

"Pretty good buffet ~ still need a reservation even for opening times on a weekday as the lines get crazy and crowds can get chaotic inside. But the seafood is great~ the desserts are very solid too, and fruit great :) Very consistent with the branch I went to in Taipei too but with some variance in available dishes."
