"If you like to talk about coffee and the subtle variations between regions and actually taste the difference while having each cup prepared at your table, this place is for you. If you just want another cafe with coffee then keep looking. We enjoyed a nice Coffee tasting and watched coffee being roasted while discussing coffee in Colombia and other regions. A must if you grind your own coffee and want the best."

"Great cofffe and atmosphere, I didnt like much the desert I had but there wasn't enough to choose from. Regardless of that the place is nice and quite spacious to seat and enjoy a cup of coffee. I did order an Americano wich it was ok. The setup of the place and the coffee roasted machine gives the place a great look. The service was nice and friendly. price $"

"Deserves more than 5 stars! Easily the best coffee in Villa de Leyva! I mean I spent nearly 5 months in Villa de Leyva and I would have visited most of the cafés there, so I mean it when I say the best in Villa de Leyva.
I visited this place three times while in Villa de Leyva over a period of two weeks, and my experience on all three occasions were fantastic! It was unfortunate that I only stepped into this place during that last two weeks of my stay. If I had visited earlier I would have saved myself the inconvenience of having tasted some of the terrible coffees in the other Cafés!

Ok let me come to the point

The coffee is brilliant! I tried the espresso on all three occasions and they were all simply fantastic. My wife tried their cold latte, I tried a sip out of it and I should say that it was outright refreshing!
On my first visit I had the opportunity to meet and interact with the owners, they are really serious about what they do and put every bit of honesty into their business. They have the right equipments and techniques to brew coffee the right way.
In one corner I saw their cold drip brewing set-up, and I was immediately curious. Seeing my curiosity they offered me a shot of their cold drip coffee; it was simply marvellous! I was never a fan of cold coffee, but the coffee they offered changed my mind about cold coffees!
They have an in house roaster and you can buy roasted whole coffee or powdered to your preference. Of course I bought a bag of coffee for French press.
Apart from coffee they also serve Aromáticas which my mother in law tried and approves. I also tried their cakes which were good too.

Their prices are reasonable and is a great value for money. It's just a hole in the wall kind of place that does total justice to what a coffee shop should be, that is to serve great coffee and be up for a conversation about coffee!
I would visit this place a hundred times over again!"
