Reviews Summary

H. Schwarzenbach AG is celebrated for its exceptional quality coffee, exquisite chocolates, and vast selection of teas, dried fruits, and spices. The historic ambiance and knowledgeable staff enhance the experience, though the cafe's popularity can lead to limited seating and higher prices for some items.

"Really interesting shop in the centre of Zurich old town with a wide array of chocolate, teas, dried fruits and nuts, as well as preserves. The chocolate shop also sells hot chocolate and coffee and seemed to be doing a good trade when we visited. The staff were very helpful and had lots of knowledge on all their products. The other part of the shop with the dried fruits and nuts etc was a hit on the senses!"

David Cameron

"Extremely unique selections of dried fruits and spices at H. Schwarzenbach! The friendly staff helps navigate flavor profiles and is very accommodating."

Thirty-six Dingo

"Great coffee in a cool little chocolate shop. Can see the coffee beams being roasted next door in an open window. Not much of an area to drink there, but can take to go to cool spots near by. Coffee was very good and the service was very friendly."

Recommended Swiss coffee roasters?

Schwarzenbach: their 'Brasil Santos' and Latino were quite good altough a bit boring to my taste buds. Be careful with buying their expensive coffees, the 'Hawaii Kona' and 'Jamaica Blue Moutain' I got were stale.
