What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about the unique dining experience of eating on a vertical rock face and the breathtaking panoramic views. The cheese fondue and other local specialties are frequently praised for their delicious taste and quality ingredients. However, some guests have noted that the service can be slow, especially during busy periods, and prices are considered high, likely due to the remote and scenic location.
"Came here with my little one to visit Santa Claus, an absolute must for every kid and Christmas lover, really well done decoration.
We ate afterwards a cheese fondue and it's a perfect mix of cheeses with a very smooth consistency, accompanied by fresh bread and pickles. Staff is very friendly and helpful, too!"
Catrine Sutter
"The view is absolutely amazing, especially at sunset. Our experience was a little tuned down by the slow service. It was a special Raclette day, there was a lot of people, but only 3 machines and 2 waiters bringing plates to everybody. We had to wait about half an hour between small Raclette plates (with 2 baby potatoes and some Raclette). The staff was really friendly and working hard though. I would suggest to provide each table with their own Raclette machine."

"You go there for 2 reasons:
1) Eating in the middle of a vertical rock face is just awesome (including the view).
2) the food is tasty and good; though the menu is very short.
And the third reason is the slow and steady train trip up the mountain: train can be overcrowded just before lunch time..."
