"Had such an amazing time here! Went for my birthday without a reservation and was treated like family by our waiter Daniel! He genuinely made our night by making sure we had everything we needed! We had the cheese fondue with seasonal vegetables and the beef which he suggested and it was delicious! After dinner Daniel brought us an additional small chocolate fondue with fruit for my birthday which really made my night! Such great service all night! Thankyou so much!!"

"The service here was fantastic! They got us right in without a reservation and sat us out on the little balcony. The servers were so friendly and helpful with recommendations so we didn’t order more than we could eat. We chose the cheese fondue with beef (the beef was so tender and tasty!) and it came with bread and potatoes. Then we had the chocolate fondue with all the fixins. I think my only critique would be to make the chocolate a little more luxurious…maybe a little thicker or with a few flavor mix-ins like peanut butter or Nutella or something. Overall though, we had a great experience here and left very full and happy!"

It feels like a bit of a hidden gem since it’s not on the ground floor (you’ll need to head upstairs to the second floor), but definitely worth finding. We had a nice seat on the balcony overlooking the waters.
We had the cheese fondue with potatoes and bread, and the raclette with steamed vegetables and bread. As a party of two, the staff kindly let us order single portions of each instead of the usual two-person sets, so we could try both without over-ordering.
Really appreciated the thoughtful service and delicious food — would definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for their cheese fix in Switzerland."

Where to find a Swiss Fondue House in Lucerne
At the end of the day, we actually wanted to have dinner (I was craving for the Swiss cheese dish Fondue) at Pfistern, one of my favourite Swiss restaurant around Lucerne – unfortunately, the outside terrace, where they usually serve more than 100 different fondues, was not open at the time we arrived… we checked the internet and we decided to go to the Fondue House Du Pont instead, which was open earlier. And the best thing: it was literally just around the corner (1min from the Pfistern restaurant). As fate would have it, we got a nice table with an amazing view to the Chapel Bridge!.
