What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Los Victorinos is celebrated for its authentic Spanish tapas culture and lively atmosphere. Diners rave about the exceptional quality and variety of tapas, especially the croquetas and unique montaditos, all at affordable prices. While the intimate, standing-room-only setting contributes to the authentic experience, some find the lack of seating and limited space can make dining a bit rushed.
"I was looking for a place to have dinner in Zaragoza online, then Los Victorinos came out. It's in a narrow street of the old town. It's small, crowded and there's no place to sit, but that's ok, that's the tapa experience.
All the tapas I tried were extremely good, especially that one with the duck meat. Of course you can find the migas aragonesas there. I just had a caña to drink. The prices are quite low compared to the great quality of food.
I liked this place so much I came back two days later to have a fast lunch.
The owner and all the people who work there have been very gentle and fast in service. You can pay with card, even after the meal.
If you're a small group who's not bothered by chaos and standing, I'd surely recommend this place."

"This is one of my favorite tapas bars. The artichoke on ham is excellent! My vegetarian husband enjoyed the mushroom pate. Service was very friendly. I highly recommend it!"

Restaurants in Zaragoza
Named after a much-feared and respected breed of fighting bull, this rustic tavern, located behind La Seo, is dripping with taurine paraphernalia. It offers an elaborate and inventive selection of pinchos and tapas. Jamón ibérico de bellota (acorn-fed Iberian ham), Spain's culinary crown jewel, is a no-brainer, though quail eggs or the classic gilda—olives, green peppers, and anchovies on a toothpick—are also on the bar and hard to resist.

4 B&B Hotel Zaragoza Los Enlaces Estación, Pilar Miro, 1 (Bus 501 to Aeropuerto from the Delicias station, alight at Via Hispanidad (303), walk 450 m down the road). Convenient if you plan to use Zaragoza as a stopover on your Madrid-Barcelona train ride, as it is only 5 minutes by bus from the Delicias station (or half an hour by foot, if you feel like walking 2 km. Great value for an AC property, even if a bit older and quite away from the city centre (30 mins by bus).
The big weekend: Zaragoza
Back to El Tubo to start at Bodegas Almau (Calle Estebanes 10), which has been serving punchy Aragonese reds since 1870, or Los Victorinos (Calle Jose de la Hera 6), where a montadito (open sandwich) of jamon, foie and boletus costs £2.40. Everything stays open late, so if you want to catch a concert at the highbrow Auditorio de Zaragoza (tickets from £12; auditoriozaragoza.com) or the down-and-dirty Casa del Loco (from £8; Calle Mayor 10), rock on.
Eating in Zaragoza
Outside this area we would like to recommend some other excellet bars such as Los Victorinos, in the Plaza Santa Marta and with a large bar of pinchos; Cervino, one of the most famous tapas bars in the town; o Melí Meló, an attractive and innovative proposal.
