The chef and our waiter spent so much time giving us recommendations on things to see in town. Had dinner here both nights we visited Toledo. Can't recommend this place enough."

"This is a fabulous, unpretentious little place with great food and a very friendly and kind owner, who speaks reasonable English. My wife had the oxtail stew, I had the pork cheeks with a creamy sauce. Both were excellent, and came with a side of roast potatoes. The portion size is substantial, like a working man’s dinner should be. Save room in your tummy for the fig flan with a sherry sauce - absolutely delicious. If you’re staying in this area, it’s a must-visit. Highly recommended!"
