Pelayo Bar de Tapas offers a wider range of cuisine than the usual local staples, encompassing Italian, Mediterranean, and European influences in addition to those of the Spanish regions. The entrance to this lively bar is claimed to be at the exact point at which the famous Giralda Tower would crash if it fell over. Best take a table further inside then as it serves the best tapas in Seville Old Town!

This homey cafe-bar option has a menu featuring creative local tapas, and seafood – if you’re not budgeting, as well as some really good local wines. It’s also right next to the Catedral de Sevilla, where there are also various relics for you to see located throughout their 80 different chapels. So make sure you eat enough paella to keep you going for an entire afternoon of exploration.

Wandering round in the evening we came across Pelayo Bar de Tapas, now we had the best food here. The cosy bar looked great with and open area to the street, it was busy with a quick turnover of people. The meal was so fresh and delicious- we ordered meats and cheeses, prawns, paella, croquettes.

One of my favourites in the city is Pelayo Bar de Tapas, which is on a side street just next to the Cathedral. Whenever I have visitors, I take them here. It is always very busy but somehow, they always manage to squeeze you in for a delicious meal.

Pelayo Bar is another eye-catching tapas bar with a covered outdoor seating area that opens right onto the street. You’ll find all the classic dishes here and it’s always packed. I didn’t eat here, but only because I ran out of time.

This cute restaurant is near the Cathedral and caught my eye with all of the little potted plants outside. Plus it got bonus points for having highchairs available. We ordered 6 plates of tapas to share and actually they were huge!

Eating paella in Spain is a bit of a cliché, but it’s hard to pass up!. In the centre of Seville, a few steps away from the cathedral, the restaurant Pelayo proposes nice plates for 7,5 €. Calle de Placentines, 25

We stopped at Pelayo Bar after spending time at the Royal Alcázar. Pelayo Bar is a quick place to grab authentic tapas and an afternoon latte. We tried the Russian potato salad, ham croquettes and ratatouille.

As in the other restaurants mentioned above, you can choose between many different Tapas. They are offering cold and warm Tapas and also some specialities. The price for one of them is between 3€ and 5€.

A cozy place to have a drink and a snack in the center of Seville. The meat and meat appetizers are especially praised here. Authentic tapas will not leave indifferent connoisseurs of Spanish cuisine.
