What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bar Alfalfa is celebrated for its authentic Spanish tapas, lively local atmosphere, and friendly staff, making it a must-visit spot in Seville. While many rave about dishes like pork cheeks and croquetas, some diners have experienced inconsistency in food quality and service, though the affordable prices and vibrant ambiance generally outweigh these concerns.
"Probably one of my favorite food stops in Seville, the service was quick and efficient sitting at the bar. The food was all amazing, the best would probably be the jamon or the pork cheeks. Wow it was so good just looking at the photos is making me miss this place. All the tapas are reasonably priced as well. Great vibe, great food, what more could you want."

"Hit or Miss Experience
We visited this bar twice last week, and honestly, it felt like two completely different places.
On our first visit (June 12), the experience was absolutely amazing. The waiter who served us was one of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered, and I ordered a lot of tapas and sangria. Everything was incredibly delicious. In fact, we loved it so much that we came back later that same day — and once again, the food and service were just as outstanding.
But the next day, we returned and unfortunately, the experience was a complete letdown. The new waiter (also a guy) wasn’t nearly as friendly, and the food was honestly disappointing. I ordered a lasagna that came out cold and just wasn’t good. My friend ordered the same meat dish we’d had the day before — which had been excellent — but this time it was also cold and not well-prepared. We later found out the chef was different: a woman the first day, a man the second. Regardless, a place like this should maintain consistent quality, no matter who’s in the kitchen.
That’s the reason I’m not giving 5 stars for this bar. But if I had to rate it based only on our first day, it would have been an easy 5-star experience.
Still, I’d consider coming back if I ever return to Seville, just to take my chances again and based on how great our first experience was. The prices were also quite fair, and it was the cheapest sangria we found in the city."

"It was truly an incredible experience. Every tapa that we ordered was very delicious. Waiters were very friendly, and the prices are quite affordable. Only problem could be that you don’t find an empty seat, as it is a small bar. I would definitely recommend here."

The Best Bars In Seville, Spain
Another great spot on the Alameda is frozen in a year that is clearly considered to be the pinnacle of human achievement by the proprietors. The level of dedication that has gone into amassing memorabilia from 1987 to make this lively disco pub what it is, will very likely impress: a yellow Freddie Mercury leather jacket, stickers, posters and other memorabilia all make for an intriguing wander around – that is, if the stream of 80s classic songs doesn’t draw you straight to the dance floor instead.

Our number one on our list of best tapas bars in Seville is a place that offers a sort of tapas-asian-italian fusion cuisine that is unbelievable, every dish has its own character and very special fragrance. There is not much to be said about this place, it’s pretty small, the decoration is not especially original for Seville’s standards, yet, it’s one of the most successful tapas bars in Seville and we will tell you why: the food is D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S and that’s all you need!.
