What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tabanco Los Arcos is lauded for its delicious, authentic tapas and extensive local wine selection, often praised for excellent prices and friendly service. While many enjoy the rustic atmosphere and stunning views, some reviews mention it can be very busy, and one reviewer experienced rudeness from staff, though this seems to be an outlier.
"Vegan tapas are hard to find in Spain but the folks at Tabanco were so kind and helpful. We had delicious white asparagus, artichoke hearts, quinoa-stuffed peppers, and some nice beans. The non-vegans also had delicious albondigon (large meatball) and Serrano ham. All excellent!"

"Delicious food and wine. Ordered Bull Tail, the meat melted off the bone.
Succulent tomatoes and oven baked ham. So good! Washed down with a white wine and sangria.
Lot’s of servers and fast service."

"SHOULD be a tourist trap with such an amazing location but this little place has an amazing friendly atmosphere, great staff, great food and affordable prices! I want to go back here every day of my visit to Ronda to have the black pudding roll again! The goats cheese with jam toast was gorgeous and the smoked sardine toast at Clara’s recommendation was amazing! Also Clara’s service was perfection ❤️"

5 best restaurants in Ronda (our 2025 reviews): where to eat
Nestled beneath the arches of a centuries-old mansion, the discreet sign of the Tabanco Los Arcos Restaurant gives no hint of the treasure it contains. A tabanco is the French equivalent of a wine bar, with a rustic, tavern-style decor. In these “tabancos”, people come mainly to drink wine, and we enjoyed the selection of nectars, almost exclusively from the vineyards of the surrounding Serranía.
12 + 1 Reasons to Spend a Weekend in Romantic Ronda
If you need something to hold you until dinner – a tentenpie as the Spanish call it – join the rondeños at Tabanco Los Arcos. This wine bar just off the Puente Nuevo bridge is said to be Ronda’s best. Pisqui and his friendly and speedy team serve regional Spanish wine and tasty titbits in Ronda’s narrowest wedge of a building.

Where to EAT in RONDA? My route of BARS and RESTAURANTS
Located in the nerve center of Ronda we find this small space, with just 3 tables at the door and a few more inside, but it has a very remarkable offer of wines and cured meats. It is a perfect option to make a wine and tapas stop between so many visits to the monuments of Ronda.

Cross the bridge to the old town and Tabanco los Arcos is one of the first places you'll see. This is a great spot to sample the local Ronda wines!. When we visited the wine bar was packed, thanks to the aforementioned hailstones, but we slipped into a cosy table in the corner.
