"Thank you Helena and Bernabe for the most amazing evening! Arrived just for a drink and the sunset and felt so welcome we stayed for a very enjoyable dinner. Great food and service. From Andrea and Marc - Lisbon, Portugal."

"Very nice restaurant with nice views. The service was professional but very slow despite hardly anyone in there and plenty of staff. Food nicely presented and my vegetables were nice but the calamare at 20€ was bland and chewy. Husband said his salmon stuffed with prawns was ok but good job he had a big breakfast as was about two mouthfuls. All in all it was ok but would not rush to go back. They did give me gluten free bread and were helpful with knowledge of allergens regarding menu choices"

"Atmosphere is nice thats why i give it 2 star (one for the atmosphere one for how bad the food tasted). The squid ink rice didnt have enough sauce to eat with the rice, creme brulé is too sweet. Waiters are so rush with everything even tho there is no customer around. Theres no light in toilet also, need to carry torch light inside also. I will give another star for the lovely owner. hopefully this place can be better soon."

The Best Ronda Restaurants & Tapas Bars
Another restaurant that falls firmly into the category marked ‘special’ is Abades Ronda. Standout dishes range from the sublime – think foie with local goat’s cheese and caramelised apple and delightfully delicate turbot with black noodles and mango ali-oli – to the frankly ridiculously delicious, a sirloin of Iberico pork that, in our opinion, would be worth trying to scale the gorge for. And speaking of the gorge… it’s right there, like an extra dining companion, opening out on to views that stretch away across the sun-dappled fields and olive groves to the misty Serrania de Ronda in the distance.
Where to eat in Ronda
Overlooking the stunning Ronda gorge, Abades Ronda has a truly special view for diners to enjoy, combining the town’s most iconic feature with fabulous dining. Gazing out across to the Serrania de Ronda in the distance from this a la carte restaurant with outdoor spaces and viewing terrace is a true Ronda highlight – especially as the sun is setting. Utilising local produce that fuses tradition and innovation, as well as the authentic flavours of the land, you can be chowing down on everything from Iberian meats, Malaga fish, and some mouth-watering desserts.

➤ What to do in Ronda at night?
Another option to have dinner is the Abades Ronda Restaurant. With spectacular views of the Tajo river and the natural surroundings of Ronda, you can enjoy the dishes prepared by chef Paco Reche. Gourmet cuisine that fuses tradition with innovation using local products.
The bounty of fresh local ingredients, an emerging fine food scene on the coast and Spain’s rise to the top of world cuisine has led to a food renaissance in the Ronda area where traditional, local specialties and globally inspired tapas vie for attention
With a stunning terrace overlooking the Serannía and glass walls to the interior, Abades Ronda is in the most enviable position. With a decent menu del dia or lighter lunches on the terrace. Excellent, friendly service and pretty good value for money.

We had the most delicious jamón and regional delicacy payoyo cheese, with some regional wine that was very good too. Our server was super nice and friendly and we had a great time there.
