What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Good Old Days Bar & Kitchen is a beloved spot praised for its delicious, generous portions of comfort food and its uniquely nostalgic 70s/80s ambiance. Diners rave about the friendly service, live entertainment, and the overall fun atmosphere. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, some reviews mention minor points about steak preparation.
"60, 70s and 80s themed venue on an upper floor in the main strip. Run by a lovely woman who also does an excellent gig twice a week in the corner of the venue. Don't be surprised to find the odd Jet2 rep working there too.
They serve a good choice of food with some old fashioned British options such as steak and ale pie.
Forget your diet, or maybe try and share the plates - as they are large!"

"Tonight we visited ‘the good old days’ 😍 food was amazing and staff were fantastic!!
I went for the chicken fajitas which came with 3 sauces, cheese and rice!! I also was greedy and had a delicious side of salt and pepper chips 🤩 these were fantastic 😍
Hubby went for the fish & chips 🐟 his words were “better than back home” (and we live in Northern Ireland so we know all about good fish).
Oldest girl went for sausages chips and beans and she was so happy it was proper British sausages 😂
Little one had a ‘baby bowl’ 😍
Also a side of cheesy garlic bread, 1 beer and 1 magners. A grand total of… 56 euro, wow 🤩"

"Went here in April on a golfing widows week away . We were recommended this little gem and also read the great reviews. 1st night we went tried quite a few cocktails, all very good and presented beautifully. We ate there a few times and was very happy with the quality of the food we ordered and decided to do the gin afternoon tea , we were not disappointed . Just wanted to say not only were the drinks and food great but the staff were very welcoming and great at recommending food and drinks .We have booked up for September and I can tell you we will be back to this little gem .By the way when visiting the bathroom make time to read all the articles on the wall , took me straight back to my childhood, thankyou all for a great experience and can’t wait to go back in September 🥰"

Things To Do In Puerto Del Carmen And Los Pocillos, Lanzarote
serious, hit up The Good Old Days, a 1970s-themed cocktail bar on the main road through town, complete with floral table lamps and space hoppers hanging from the ceiling; it's a vibe not unlike London's own Little Nan's. And while the decor doesn't exactly scream 'Spanish island' (though it's certainly screaming something), the food menu is pure Middle England: jacket potatoes, bangers and mash, afternoon tea and Sunday roasts.
