Wie der Name schon verrät, handelt es sich bei der H2O Juice Bar & Vegan Cafe um ein rein veganes Café mit Fokus auf frischen Säften und Smoothies. Es befindet sich im beliebten Surferort Corralejo im Norden Fuerteventuras. Die vielfältige Speisekarte reicht vom Frühstücksangebot über Süßes wie Waffeln, Muffins, Kuchen und frischen Obstsalaten bis hin zu herzhaften Mittagsspeisen wie Salaten, Sandwiches, Bowls und Burgern.

This charming vegan eatery isn’t just a haven for strict vegans – carnivores are equally enamored by its delectable fare. Another perfect place when deciding where to eat in Corralejo is the H₂O Juice Bar & Vegan Cafè. This bar offers homemade food and drinks of excellent quality and flavour. In addition, they also have a selection of vegan cakes, such as chocolate and pear cakes, orange and ginger muffins or almond and coconut cookies.

H20 was bright and breezy, run by a lovely couple who received our enthusiasm graciously. I say ‘our’ enthusiasm - my husband plays it somewhat cooler than moi. I bulldoze in with zero tact, hugging the chef and exclaiming how wonderful it is to have found fellow vegans - because we’re all soulmates aren’t we?.

In a quiet “plaza” in the old city, the small bar offers smoothies and fruit juices for all tastes. One of the rare vegan places on the island, it offers a nice selection of vegan burgers, sandwiches, salads and cakes. It has an outdoor seating area under the shade of trees (another rare find on the island!).

But in the sea of Fuerteventura’s hotel buffets and full English feasts, H2O Juice Bar stands out. For all the right reasons. Yes, it’s a fully vegan place with enough immune system boosting ingredients to go toe to toe with Holland & Barrett, but it’s also one of the best restaurants in Fuerteventura.

H2O Juice Bar & Vegan Cafe was one of the first places we ate at in Corralejo and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a bright, airy cafe with a friendly, helpful owner. It’s tucked away in the corner of a square with some colourful tables outside if you want to sit in the sun.

Quick stop for a brunch in a central square of Corralejo – you will find this small family run café. Good place, good people and good vibes. We ordered coffee, smoothie bowls, hummus toast and sandwich of the day.
