What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sidrería La Manzana offers a genuine taste of Asturian cuisine with generous portions and a lively atmosphere, though some diners have noted inconsistent service and a less personal dining experience. While many praise dishes like the octopus and fabada, a few reviews mention issues with food quality or staff attentiveness. It's a popular spot, especially on the famous cider street, offering good value for money.
"Top in it's class (sidrería). Octopus is amazing and fabada very good as well. Recommended."

"Always crowded as a good restaurant should be. Cachopo really tasty and lovely sidra. Fairly priced.
The staff are awesome... Always helpful and eager to "escanciar" the sidra for you..."

"I came here today with my partner, and his extended family (all from Asturias). I'm from the UK and this is my third time visiting. I can say for certain that this is the worst food and service I've ever had - and really not at all my experience of Oviedo or any of the rest of Spain. Our food was dreadful, and one of the courses barely edible. The staff were rude, dismissive and unfriendly. My partner (Spanish) complained and we were told of our experience "well that's your opinion" and dismissed. The whole experience was really off-putting. I would advise tourists to avoid this place and my partner's family (who live in Oviedo) will be doing the same."
