"A good find! Nice cosy café offering a very decent tasty vegetarian or vegan breakfast with Quorn sausages. Service was quick and the café is tops for cleanliness. They also do daily traditional Fish & Chips (or Scampi) with a special offer on a Friday. Dine in or on the terrace. Ruskin's is easy to located as it is opposite the RIU hotel."

"A delicious vegan Sunday lunch.
The vegetables were al dente, the mash was creamy, the roasties were well cooked, and the nut roast was delicious and perfectly seasoned. They even had vegan gravy. The only things that could improve the experience are the addition of a vegan Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese, which would be easy to do, and a dessert option that's suitable for vegans, which would also be really easy.
There are a few vegan options on the menu, including a cooked breakfast. They also do oat milk and almond milk for hot drinks."

"I really, really love Ruskins. Food is great, drinks are fabulous, prices are awesome, service is exemplary. But all of those (important) points aside, more than anything the staff are truly wonderful, lovely, attentive, friendly and so welcoming. My mother unfortunately has dementia 😢 but the servers couldn't be anymore kind and accommodating. Seriously. Especially Catherine and Jaydin/Jaydean/Jaydeen?!! (I'm sorry chica, my spelling sucks!!!) It really feels like a home from home (and, this may make me sound like a weirdo, but the bathrooms are immaculate.... says a lot about a restaurant IMO) If you're in Nerja definitely stop by, even if just for a few drinks -- or the ab fab Sunday roast.... and yeah, I know, British food in every Spain, but, hey now and then it's no biggie, especially when an establishment so deserves the patronage.
