Reviews Summary
Bodega La Fuente is highly praised for its authentic Spanish tapas, especially its specialty anchovies, and its unique 1920s-style ambiance. Diners rave about the incredible value for money, with tapas and drinks combos being a particular highlight. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, some minor points like uncomfortable stools or an unusual bathroom are occasionally mentioned.
"Great experience and one that's going to leave you slightly drunk, each tapas comes with a drink. In the end we couldn't drink as many tapas as we ate. Really good value, all outside seating. Bustling with life Good fun."

"Very happy to find this tapas bar in a back street. One of three in short order. Jorvic decided to try a vermouth and Paulicarus a rosé wine. Ordered a marinera tapas and a racion of the cured tuna. Both good. Lovely pavement seating and impressive interior. Lovely staff. Good value."

Cartagena – La Manga Insider
Looking for good value and enjoy both fish and tapas, then you can't beat Bodega la Fuente centrally located on Calle Jara 17 where you can choose from a lovely selection of fish tapas served with a small beer or glass of wine (caña) for less than 2€. The owners have cleverly opened a further tapas bar across the road, La Uva Jumillana that specialises in meat tapas so, if visiting with family or in a group you can enjoy the best of both worlds. For dining with wonderful views, Cartagena's marina boasts a nice selection of bars and restaurants.
