"Came here for our final dinner before heading home, we were unsure whether to pick here or Maximilians, however so pleased we came here. Service was fab, food was incredible (FYI - huge portions! Pizza is massive) and it’s a great location with a lovely view. The ice cream was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend!"

"Good Italian restaurant with a pretty view on the ocean. The food was good, and the servers were helpful and very fast. I have quite some food restrictions, and they helped me nicely with what dishes I could eat. I could eat here gluten-free, lactose-free, and without garlic and onion family (garlic, onion, chives, spring onion, etc). They even have gluten-free pasta.
They have a lot of options on the menu card, and specifically also a wide range of desserts and ice creams.
They had a gluten-free carrot cake, and gluten-free and lactose-free sorbet ice cream flavours.

"AVOID!!
We had no booking as it was our first day arriving. When asking for a table for 2, we were asked to wait for around 5 minutes. At this point, it’s 7:30pm, and the place is at about 20% capacity. Once what I assumed was the head waiter greeted us in a very unfriendly manor, he put us in possibly the worst seat in the house. We asked to sit next to the sea front, and was told ‘this is for special customers only’. Brilliant…. What a way to make your customer feel special.

We then ordered a bottle of wine, some bread for starters and 2x the 4 cheese Gnocchi. The bread was cold, and the butter provided tasted horrid, so had to just have dry bread.

Then the Gnocchi cane out… I’ve never tasted such vile food in my life. It came out with what looked like a straw hat on top of it. I’m not sure if any of the owners of this Italian restaurant has even actually eaten in Italy before, but this was not an Italian dish. It tasted like what can only be described as cheesy feet.

By the time we left, it was still at only 20-30% capacity. So the wait and the attitude that they gave us about being busy was for nothing. The thing that tops it, is that by the time we left, there was still loads of seats available that were close to the sea.

To summarise:
Dog shit service
Food was inedible without gagging
The food wasn’t even Italian, it was their own version of what they guessed Italian food is like
Don’t visit unless you’re a ‘special customer’"
