This restaurant has two seating areas, one for tapas for walk-ins and another one for reservations. You cannot get tapas in the reservations space. Grilled artichoke, cold, tomato soup, fried cod with garlic are a must to try. Kids are welcome, and everyone is welcome here."

"An Unforgettable Dining Experience in Málaga
If you’re in Málaga, this restaurant is an absolute must! Make sure to arrive early to get a seat because this place is popular—and for good reason. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed by a warm and vibrant atmosphere where every dinner feels like a celebration.
The food? Simply outstanding. The lamb ribs and croquettes were nothing short of perfection, but the real star was the eggplant starter—hands down the best I’ve ever had! Every dish was prepared with care, bursting with flavour, and beautifully presented.
The staff are exceptional, making you feel right at home with their hospitality and attention to detail. And the guests? Their joy is contagious, creating an atmosphere that’s as special as the food itself.
Thank you for making our dinner the best memory of Málaga! We can’t wait to return
Muchos besos!"

Málaga (2021
Meson Mariano is a traditional, family-run restaurant, all dark wood and beams, a million miles away from the clean contemporary look of Taberna Uvedoble. My holiday companions were a little (well, a lot) younger than me and when we went to Meson Mariano they were in a state best described as “visibly impaired”. Regrettably, that meant we didn’t order the full three courses – but it also means that they were so full that I managed to try a little bit of everybody’s meal and confirm my suspicion that Meson Mariano was a very good restaurant indeed.
