Reviews Summary
El Balneario - Baños del Carmen offers a stunning seaside location and historic charm, with many praising the delicious seafood, particularly the BBQ sea bass. However, some diners have experienced issues with service being slow or inattentive, and there are occasional complaints about the food quality not meeting expectations or discrepancies in billing.
"We went at 1230 staff were nice and let us wait in there until lunch is served at 1300. Not cheap but nice views in front of the sea where you can feel the splash. Service great and fresh food. Tried the malaga fish soup. Not the usual soup flavour that I imagine with a “ cream soup” but it turned out very nice and refreshing"

"Came here 10 years ago for the first time. My favorite place I always have to go to when I'm in Malaga. Although the restaurant really needs some maintenance, the terrace outside is huge, the view over the sea is breathtaking. Some of the staff are friendly and some are not (Ossama was our very nice and friendly waiter). Loved the tapas (patatas bravas is different but oh so delicious 😋). And the sea bass from the BBQ was fantastic and yummy😍. This is not the place for a quick lunch. But if you have time like we did, enjoy the food, the view over the sea and the sun. We had a great time sitting there for 3,5 hours🥰🥰"

"Pricing not in accordance with the menu, so we were surprised when we paid 12€ instead of the 9€ we had expected. We came for drinks only, so can't judge the food. But the drinks were with 3 huge ice cubes. See picture. Come on guys...i didn't order ice cubes. However, a great place to sit with views"
