"Probably the worst resturant experience I’ve ever had. The waitress was very rude and unwelcoming, we already felt like leaving before we even ordered our food. Her attitude was shocking and even spiteful. We are well aware of the obnoxious tourists yet we were honestly being very quiet yet we were met with such a sour attitude. Definitely not the kind of service that gets you customers. I suspect the waitress may be suited better as a security guard. We ordered 6 meals and every single one was bad. The paella (both seafood one and veg) was terrible and dry and the rice wasn’t even cooked properly. The tortellini was only 6 pieces, a tiny serving for such a big price and also tasted gross. The chicken with salad shouldn’t even be able to be counted as chicken, it was as thin as paper and looked like a budget meal from Aldi. The veg pizza had big chucks of carrot on it? And the base extremely thin and undercooked taste and left a bad taste in our mouths. It honestly all felt like a joke. All of the prices were quite expensive and it was just absolutely crazy for the food we were given along with the very poor service. Don’t waste your money and check reviews for restaurants before you go!!!!!"

"Truly pleasant visit to Restaurante Can Kalav in Tossa de Mar, highly recommend! Located along the waterfront, there is indoor seating and also a large covered terrace that offers incredible views of the sea. We stopped in late afternoon / early evening - too late for lunch and too early for dinner - and had a few drinks and an order of piping hot patatas bravas. The house wine came in a cafe, it was a large generous serving and was served nice and cold, which was perfect on a warm day. Service was attentive and friendly. Lovely place to stop and sit for awhile… enjoy the views of the historic remains of Tossa de Mar and the beautiful sea."
