Los Cazurros es una ‘tabierna’ leonesa, pero leonesa de verdad, tan solo hay de fijarse en el popular gentilicio que le da nombre y en todos esos elementos decorativos que son una exaltación de lo leonés: el empedrado de la entrada en honor a San Isidoro, los bordados del convento de Carrizo de la Ribera, las artesas de madera (donde se hacían la matanza) que se convierten en mesas y las 256 madreñas que componen el mural de la pared (que, por cierto, es de barro y paja). También es de la provincia el queso de Valdeón con el que riegan sus patatas que se sirven como tapa por la tarde (Plaza San Martín, 5).

Nadie nos había hablado de los Cazurros, pero entrar fue todo un acierto. Esta tabierna (taberna en leonés) está cuidada al máximo y llena de detalles de la provincia de León. Nos sorprendió una pared llena de lo que para nosotras (todas cántabras) eran albarcas (zuecos tradicionales de madera) y que en León se conocen como galochas o madreñas.
