🌞SOLETE REPSOL BARATO🌞 El otro día probé el @cafebarrua11 un restaurante en León que acaba de ganar la distinción de Solete de @guiarepsol . Café Bar Rúa 11 is a highly recommended spot praised for its delicious tapas, exquisite tostas, and extensive vermouth selection. Diners highlight the friendly and attentive service, the quality-to-price ratio, and the bustling yet welcoming atmosphere. It's a perfect place to dine like a local, enjoying authentic flavors in a lively setting. While generally praised, some may find the bar can get very crowded, especially at night.

"Lovey find. Great spot for a drink and Tapas. The toast options were very tasty, perfect for sharing. Highly recommend."

Craig

"There was a pulpo dish here which is incredible. Besides that, the cheesecake is highly recommended ( my wife had it twice while she was in Leon for a few days!) and the other dishes we had were also very good. The service is fantastic and even though it was very busy, we were asked if we wanted more drinks. When I asked for a cup of local wine and later a cup of local vermouth, I was given very good examples of both. The wine was the best I've had in Spain so far and then price for the cup was no different than the house wine at other restaurants. If you like vermouth, there is a large selection."

Ryan Norris

"Had a lovely meal in Café Bar Rúa 11 last night. The menu was great, lots of variety and the food was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially as we don't speak Spanish. They also made super recommendations for a local vino blanco and a vermouth cocktail. Highly recommend visiting Café Bar Rúa 11."

A gastronomic city break in León - Castilla y León - Blog en el Camino de Santiago

At Camarote Madrid, a bullfight-themed bar that heaved with regulars as the 1pm aperitif hour rolled round, there was garlicky salmorejo soup and fresh-fried potato crisps; and at Rua 11, canapés of goat’s cheese with walnuts and honey or roast Bierzo peppers and tuna belly. In the Plaza San Martín, ground zero of the Barrio Húmedo bar scene, I snaffled a saucer of homemade meatballs along with a big glass of pungent, minerally local red at a half-timbered tavern called the Rácimo de Oro (“golden grapes”). Leonese cuisine is not for fussy or faint-hearted eaters, but there’s a subtlety even in its solid savouriness.
