"Outstanding. Our 1st evening in Gijon and could not have chosen a better place. We arrived at the earliest booking - 8.30pm with our 2 daughters. Our waitress spoke perfect English and was extremely helpful. There were too many great choices so she even arranged the kitchen to do some half portions so we could try more. All of the dishes were fresh and full of flavour. Fresh tomatoes and assorted mushrooms were specials and so good. As was tuna & steak tartare. We ended up with a different wine than we ordered - but no complaints as it was also delicious. If I lived here this would be my go to place..

"Delicious lunchtime visit for the menu del dia. Three excellent and filling courses, plus wine, water and bread for 21 euros. Service was lovely - the younger waitress spoke English to us as our Spanish is too poor - everyone else was really friendly. Would love to return some time!"
