Ubicado en el centro de la ciudad, se trata de un restaurante con ambiente flamenco y aire muy informal, divertido y "canalla". Lugar perfecto para tapear y disfrutar del aperitivo con frías cervezas y una buena carta de vinos manchegos, riojas y riberas, su cocina que se caracteriza por la sencillez y el buen producto con especial atención a los platos de la tierra pero también de Córdoba de donde procede su dueño- con recetas que bordan como el salmorejo o el gazpachito. Algunos de los platos que re recomendamos que pruebes son las Flores de calabacín, Arroz meloso de rape, Tataki de atún, quesos manchegos, patés, gachas manchegas -en época-, etc.

Continuamos de tapas en Cuenca y nos dirigirnos hacia la Calle Carreterías, una vía peatonal flanqueada por tiendas y bares, que recorrimos hasta llegar a la Plaza de la Constitución. Muy cerca estaba La Tasca del Arte, Calle Fray Luis de León nº 9, que se asemejaba a una taberna andaluza con una decoración muy cuidada. Después de acomodarnos en unos taburetes alrededor de una barrica pedimos una copa de Dominio de Fontana 2014, vino tinto roble de la DO Uclés.

Aquí te esperan platos típicos de Cuenca pero también unas cuantas delicias de la zona del Mediterráneo mezclado con un rollito flamenco –a menudo hay actuaciones en directo– . Vamos, es un popurrí de sabores y eso, no sé a ti, pero a nosotros nos encanta. Imprescindible probar los torreznos, jugosos y llenos de sabor y unos cuantos platos a compartir (calamares a la andaluza, croquetas y morteruelo de Cuenca).
