Reviews Summary

Diners rave about the delicious traditional Cordoban cuisine, with standouts like oxtail and salmorejo, served in a cozy atmosphere by friendly staff. While most praise the quality and taste of the food, a few mention that portion sizes can be small for the price, and some dishes might be slightly bland or chewy.

"The vibe is chill and relaxing. Our waiter, Simona, has lovely smile and friendly attitude. The food and drink is good with reasonable price. The squid and cuttlefish is well prepared"

Tang Alvin

"We had to wait a bit for a table, as the place is very cramped, but once seated the service was very fast. Naiara and Simona were lovely and very helpful despite the language barrier. The food was absolutely amazing - everything we tried was delicious, especially the salmoreja!"

Tigress Cat

"We absolutely LOVED the food here! We had the tomate de la huerta con burrata, and the Cuña de Tortilla de Patatas con Cebolla Caramelizada. The tomatoes were so fresh and the burrata (buffalo mozzarella) was light and delicious. Everything was drizzled with olive oil and basil pesto. The Tortilla was the best one we had in all of Spain, with caramelized onions giving it just the right touch. We only had 30 minutes to eat before our tour bus was leaving, and they got the food to us quickly. The server was very, very nice. HIghly recommend."

Where to eat the Best Salmorejo in Cordoba

In the street Velázquez Bosco, next to the mosque and next to one of the most beautiful enclaves of the city as is the “Calleja de las flores”. Is this tavern designed to be a space in which to enjoy wines and tapas from Cordoba.Given the location of the enclave, we recommend booking a guided tour of the Mosque for this day. For less than four euros you can enjoy a bowl of salmorejo following the traditional recipe, although its menu also includes innovative combinations, made with products from the province, with the aim of attracting a young and dynamic public.
