What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about CHURROS BAR MARTA for their exceptionally crispy and non-oily churros, often paired with thick hot chocolate. The friendly service and very reasonable prices are also frequently praised, making it an iconic spot for a sweet treat or breakfast. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a few mentioned that the chocolate could be improved, with one reviewer suggesting it tasted like a powder substitute, and another noting that the coffee wasn't great.
"Perfectly cozy, we walked in, the waiter asked us “churros?” and immediately brought us a plate full of churros and two cups of hot chocolate. It was a cold day and this was the first place in the city where we felt warm. We sat there for over an hour, and the place seemed popular among tourists and locals alike. The service was very kind. And it was also quite cheap! Overall would recommend stopping there for a snack (but I would recommend coming a bit hungry, it was quite filling tbh)."

"The churros are fresh and not oily, it is the best we have in Spain. The waiters are very nice, even we don’t speak Spanish, they understand what we want and treat us well. We came again the next morning to enjoy the churros. The price is very reasonable and we highly recommend."

"This place had amazing churros. Fluffy on the outside yet crispy on the outside. Our server, Ricardo, was an absolute legend. He took care of us during a very busy time at the restaurant. We enjoyed starting our morning there! I recommend this place for good cafe con leche, churros, and tostadas de tomate y jamón."

Churro Bar Marta is a little bit north of most of the tourist sites in Cordoba (it’s right by Palacio de la Merced, however), but this café serves up excellent, hot fried churros and thick, creamy hot chocolate. Bonus – this meal was only 2.70 euro.
Things to Do In Cordoba, Spain: A Day Trip From Seville
We started at Churros Bar MARTA, snagging a table at the back (but ordering at the bar before they waved us back). The churros themselves were great (some of the better ones we had), but the chocolate was meh.
