What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ancá Lidia is praised for its exceptionally fresh seafood, particularly mussels and razor clams, served in flavorful sauces. Diners also appreciate the convenient location near the market and the friendly, welcoming service, often highlighting the sunny outdoor terrace as a pleasant spot to dine. While most reviews are glowing, one guest found their pasta bolognese disappointing and noted some desired items were unavailable.
"As others have said nice & quiet next to the market. We needed something other than tapas and this delivered. Fantastic house salad, mussels. Great service."

"What a great sidewalk side restaurant. Not usually at all a foodie but lunched on a great combination of sliced tomatoes and olive oil and a side of the Iberian ham so popular in this region. The staff were also very friendly, while not English speaking, or so they professed but still very cordial.
If we were not departing tomorrow I suspect we would go back at least once on a good weather day."

"Found this completely by accident and had a great seafood lunch here. Rael was such a nice water and we loaded up on razor clams, sardines and tuna.
Food was great!
Service was outstanding (thanks)
Followed by a Cadiz local wine.
Definitely worthwhile"

In a great location right near the central market, Ancá Lidia is a great place to try some delicious Spanish dishes. We enjoyed the fried hake, patatas bravas and padrón peppers, which went nicely with a Tinto de Verano. We loved the friendly service here.
