Any stroll around these charming streets must include the Casa Mudéjar, the Casa del Sol the Solís mansion – with its Renaissance patio – as well as the Palacio de las Veletas (Cáceres Museum), built in the 15th century on the old Almohad citadel, which houses a large and well preserved water cistern. The Jewish Quarter and the Ermita de San Antonio chapel are nearby.
