"Best restaurant in caceres. No rip off like all the other tourist traps... They provide awesome food quality + reasonable prices. Try the lunch menu with starter, main and dessert for 15.90 euros! Absolutely visiting again! Try also the mousse au chocolate"

"We stopped by because we stayed nearby and ended up going twice. Caceres is a very touristy town and we were a bit worried with overall food quality for the restaurants there, however we were happy with our meals here. Overall rating 4.25
The first time was for dinner, we ordered a la carte. The portions for the entrees were all decent-sized for the price. The risotto rice had mushrooms and was a decent portion but it was too salty. The beef tajin was a Moroccan beef stew served with couscous. It was presented beautifully and the flavors were great but the meat was a tad too dry. The Solomillo beef served with goat cheese was tender, moist and delicious. Iberico pork chops were also very good. We sat outdoors and it was very pleasant with the cool breeze. Perfect for the evening. Tables were all on a slope but somehow they were able to keep it level. Unfortunately, the chairs did not do the same thing so it felt a bit odd. The red wine we ordered was from the region and lovely. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and decided to return for lunch. 4 stars for dinner.
The second experience was for menu del dia lunch. We sat inside because it was too hot outside and not much shade for the tables left. At 18.90 euros pp it included an appetizer, main, dessert, 1 piece of bread, 1 cup of beverage (wine, beer, water or soft drink). Wine pour was generous. The portions were good for the price. For appetizers we had were: the mushroom risotto, which was very good this time and seasoned perfectly. Miga with paprika. It had sausage flavoring but no sausages in the dish. The chicken salad was delicious, it had fried breaded chicken "nuggets: over a bed of greens. For the mains we ordered pork knuckles with potatoes. This was the best entrée. The pork was tender, fall-off-the-bone moist, and not fatty. The potatoes that accompanied several of the dishes were delicious. Grilled pork tenderloin was pan-fried. They were as expected. The cod with eggs and potatoes wasn't what I thought it would be. It was pretty much a scrambled egg. A disappointment for me. One of the dishes delivered was wrong but we didn't bother to correct it since we were perfectly happy with the mix-up dish that arrived. Dessert was good. Coffee was an espresso. For the people with smaller appetites, we had to pack away some food which the staff kindly obliged. It was packed very well and still delicious when we ate it for dinner that night. Service was friendly and efficient. The aircon at the table we sat at was a tad too strong for me. We enjoyed the food at lunch. 4.5 stars for lunch."

"I really don’t understand why this restaurant can get more than 4+ score, I ordered 2 dishes, one risotto which is good , the other is pork meal but over-cooked and salt was accumulated on one end and the other is not salty at all. This is purely a restaurant for tourists! Not recommend for any gourmet!"

They might serve excellent food, but one too many invite to look at a menu had us retreating to the more laid back area around Plaza San Juan where the tapas degustación menu at BOS (Calle Maestro Sánchez Garrido 3) lured us in. Despite mixed reviews online, and a forgetful waitress, we relished a tapas bonanza which included strips of ibérico with caramelised onions, a mini burger with quail egg, spicy steak and gratinated salt cod salad served with a couple of cool and crispy local whites (tapas averaging €4.20).
