"This place was recommended by Angel Herrero. The mixed vegetables with chopped serrano ham (menestra) and a touch of pumpkin were excellent - some of the best. The generous helping of the signature oxtail dish was rich and well-roasted with potatoes and other vegetables. We ordered "leche frita" for dessert. Top marks for an excellent yet economic Ribero wine and the coffee. Prices are reasonable for tourist-saturated Burgos."
