"Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, welcoming waiters. Food came quickly. Large portions and fair prices. Paid 32€ for 2 person and had leftovers for home."

"Walked into this place, and we were refused seating right away. We observed a large seating area which was unoccupied and questioned why, to which they responded that it was all reserved. We persisted and told them that we were a party of five and had just stopped into town to grab a bite to before continuing our journey. They relented and seated us on their patio. Service was prompt and the food was delicious. Portions were good and the price was fair for the food offered."

Arte Cozina and La Cantina Antequera are both lip-smacking eateries for tasting seasonal tapas made with local ingredients. Two dishes you have to try are porra antequerana, a thick and creamy cold tomato soup served with toppings like ham or tuna, and bienmesabe, a sweet almond-based dessert that’s one of Antequera’s signature treats.

The café-bar A la fuerza is also one of the most recommended places, not only for its excellent cuisine, but also because it is the perfect place for breakfast. There you can try the authentic molletes de Antequera (a very tasty type of bread) that can be accompanied with Iberian ham, tomato and oil, but also the best churros in town.
