Reviews Summary
La Consentida Brasería is a highly-regarded spot in Almeria, praised for its creative tapas, delicious grilled meats, and pleasant atmosphere. Diners rave about the flavorful dishes, the fun celebrity-themed names, and the welcoming ambiance, especially the charming terrace. While many find the value excellent, some have noted issues with pricing clarity on premium dishes.
"I spent a month living in Almeria and this place was absolutely the best place for tapas. Lots of variety, great service and a really nice vibe. All the dishes are named after famous women and I love how all the background music is by famous lady singers. The food was the best too, so many flavours. I had 5 dishes and a glass of wine which came to only 14 euros, very happy! This restaurant deserves the high ratings and recognition it gets"

"A Must-Visit Gem in Almería!
I had the pleasure of dining at La Consentida last night and was thoroughly impressed. The food was nothing short of delicious—each tapa was beautifully presented and full of flavour. Special mention goes to the pork skewer, perfectly grilled and deeply satisfying, and the roasted baked potatoes, which were seasoned to perfection.
The atmosphere was just as delightful as the cuisine. The restaurant itself is stunning, and the terrace is thoughtfully designed, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed evening. Service was excellent—efficient, friendly, and always attentive without being overbearing.
And the desserts? Do not, under any circumstances, skip them. The tiramisu wasn’t just dessert—it was a criminally good experience. Honestly, it should come with a warning label."

Friendly service, the team is trying to communicate in English as I don’t speak Spanish."

Almeria on a plate: Fruit farms, the best market and a Spanish family’s top table
We escaped the fruit salad to dine at, La Consentida, which is fantastic, and recognised widely as the best place to eat in town. And no wonder – it has a fabulous menu of meat, fish, and veggie tapas that are truly exceptional. To add to the fun, each tapa is named after a famous female celebrity and we took great delight in guessing why the owners had chosen to name the sensual cheese and meat dish in honour of Scarlett Johansson and the veggie salad after Sarah Jessica Parker.
My 5 Best Places to Eat in Almeria, Spain
I gave up on trying to go to La Consentida the first few times because it was so busy, and when I finally made the effort I wished I hadn’t waited so long!. On the weekend it’s difficult to find a spot inside or outside this beautiful bar because it fills up so quickly. Be sure to go earlier, or on a day other than the weekend if you want a table right away.
