"The ONLY negative about dining here is FORGET your diet. The quality and QUANTITY is off the scale combined with very reasonable pricing. I went for a safe bet Fish n Chips.... The 'fish' (previously a Shark I suspect was hanging off the plate) Beautiful white meat, NOT a bone in sight. The Cheese Cake with Cream done me in completely and my wife (who never eats dessert) had the Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream. The chocolate on top was easily 1/2" thick and the entire portion was big enough, to build a wall with. She never spoke until the plate was cleared and I think I would have got what for if I made a move for a piece!! Great friendly staff, I think we will move in next year!!"

I was wanting fish and chips but the full English tempted me to - well the Porky breakfast because it had fried bread. Added black pudding and a hash brown.

"Despite our initial unsuccessful attempt to secure a table last year due to the establishment’s limited seating capacity, we decided to revisit this establishment last evening when availability presented itself.
Our experience was generally positive. We were promptly served with our beverages and subsequently our meals. The menu offered a substantial selection of dishes, and the prices were reasonable. The portions of the meals were generous, and the sausage and mash with gravy were satisfactory. However, the inclusion of cabbage as one of the vegetables was disappointing. Additionally, the mash had an unusual flavour that I was unable to identify. The absence of gravy further diminished my overall impression.
While my wife found the meal acceptable, she expressed dissatisfaction with the overpowering amount of BBQ sauce used on the chicken and the lack of flavour in the chips.
The atmosphere was unfortunately lacking. The establishment’s ambiance resembled that of a dimly lit alleyway, which was exacerbated by the presence of an lucky lucky individual selling bags to passersby directly in front of our table. This situation created an uncomfortable atmosphere, prompting us to desire an early departure. Regrettably, we will not be returning to this establishment."
