"Myeongdong Night Market remains one of Seoul’s most iconic street food and shopping destinations. The vibrant atmosphere, buzzing with locals and tourists, offers an immersive experience of Korean urban culture. While prices are generally above average, the variety of street snacks, fashion items, and quirky souvenirs make the visit worthwhile. It's not just about the purchases — it's the energy, lights, and flavours that create a memorable night out in the heart of Myeongdong."

"This place come to live during the night. The street food we tried were not great, we tried the egg bread, red bean paste pastry, KFC( it was so spicy). Many restaurants in this area, so if you don’t want street food there is many other options. Shopping is great, many cosmetics stores. I went in the morning the next day around 1030, not many shoppers in olive young, the associates was able to help me with my questions. So if you have questions with the products, it’s the best go in the morning when less crowded."
Lili Xu
"Visit: May 2025
a really cool place, with so many shops that you can go to for souvenirs and shopping! There is a lot of food around as well. This is definitely a touristy area though and it is completely packed with people. Very different from what we experienced on the rest of our trip, but worth a visit to see what the chaos is like"
